Anti-Mouse CD71/TfR1 Antibody (8D3) is a rat-derived inhibitory antibody targeting mouse CD71/TfR1. It depletes CD71-positive erythroid cells without significantly affecting the proportion of regulatory T cells in neonatal mice, while enhancing the anti-infective ability of neonatal mice.

Anti-Mouse CD71/TfR1 Antibody (8D3), administered intraperitoneally at a dose of 150 μg to newborn mice on postnatal days 5 and 6, can enhance their anti-infection ability [1].
When administered intraperitoneally at the same dose on postnatal day 9, it can eliminate CD71-positive erythroid cells without significant effect on the proportion of regulatory T cells [2].
