Description | Anti-ITGB1 Antibody (2Z549) is a Mouse antibody targeting ITGB1. Anti-ITGB1 Antibody (2Z549) can be used in FCM. |
Alias | VLA-β, VLA-BETA, VLAB, MSK12, MDF2, integrin, β1 (fibronectin receptor, βpolypeptide, antigen CD29 includes MDF2, MSK12), integrin, beta 1 (fibronectin receptor, beta polypeptide, antigen CD29 includes MDF2, MSK12), Integrin β1, GPIIA, FNRB, CD29 |
Ig Type | Monoclonal Mouse IgG1 |
Clone | 2Z549 |
Reactivity | Human |
Verified Activity | Flow cytometric analysis of Human ITGB1(CD29) expression on human whole blood lymphocytes. Cells were stained with purified anti-Human ITGB1(CD29), then a FITC-conjugated second step antibody. The fluorescence histograms were derived from gated events with the forward and side light-scatter characteristics of viable lymphocytes. |
Application | FCM |
Recommended Dose | FCM: 1:25-1:100 |
Antibody Type | Monoclonal |
Host Species | Mouse |
Construction | This antibody was produced from a hybridoma resulting from the fusion of a mouse myeloma with B cells obtained from a mouse immunized with purified, recombinant Human ITGB1 / Integrin beta-1 / CD29 (rh ITGB1 / Integrin beta-1 / CD29; TMPY-00476; CAA30790.1; Met1-Asp728). The IgG fraction of the cell culture supernatant was purified by Protein A affinity chromatography. |

Research Background | ITGB1 (Integrin Subunit Beta 1) is a Protein Coding gene. This gene encodes a beta subunit, which is a type 1 transmembrane protein of the integrin beta chain family. ITGB1 is a heterodimeric cell-surface receptor involved in cell functions such as proliferation, migration, invasion, and survival. ITGB1 has been recognized to play a major role in tumor growth, invasion, and metastasis. Using luciferase assays, the researcher identified ITGB1 as a direct target of miR-134. ITGB1 is a direct target of miR-493-5p suggesting that ITGB1 and miR-493-5p may have potential prognostic value and may be useful as tumor biomarkers for the diagnosis of NSCLC patients. Diseases associated with ITGB1 include Gallbladder Cancer and Breast Cancer. |
